What Powers Does the Plant Director Have in Naramo Nuclear Plant?
Administrative abilities are special commands granted exclusively to the facility head to manage the site. The role occupies the highest position on the Department of Energy career tree and has access to site-wide systems that lower employee ranks cannot touch.
Plant Directors serve as the face of the Power Plant and is in charge of all operations within NNPP. — the official Naramo Nuclear Plant page on Roblox
The position comes with four primary in-game capabilities:
- Server-wide Broadcast: The director can transmit text announcements visible to all players on the server, as well as trigger global voice broadcasts.
- Class 2 Lockdown: Operating on a 5-minute cooldown, this command raises perimeter road barriers, sounds facility alarms, and cuts external access to ventilation shafts.
- Employee Dismissal: The director can fire any unruly worker every 5 minutes. Fired players cannot reselect Department of Energy roles for 5 minutes.
- Camera Scan: The director monitors CCTV feeds across complex sectors to pinpoint infiltrating raiders.
According to the Miraheze Keycards guide, the role receives the mauve Q-level clearance card. This card functions identically to an A-card, opening administrative suites, control rooms, and defensive perimeters across the facility while excluding only select classified rooms in Zone D. The director also spawns with a Model 17 sidearm for personal defense.

Executive Meetings and Plant Policy Voting
Executive meetings are administrative assemblies called by the Plant Director every 15 minutes to enact facility regulations. Once initiated from the administrative complex, eligible staff can accept a teleport to the boardroom to vote on three policies chosen by the director.
Voting weight is distributed unevenly among personnel:
- The Plant Director holds 3 votes.
- Members of the corporate team hold 2 votes each.
- Department heads and maximum-rank personnel from plant security, maintenance, logistics, and reactor operations hold 1 vote each.
As documented in the Miraheze Plant Policies documentation, selected bills modify facility rewards, access rules, and grid operations across the entire server:
| Policy Choice | Best Situational Use | Trade-Off |
|---|---|---|
| Security Funding Act | Active base defense against raiders | Combat personnel gain 15% more XP, but Department of Energy workers lose 10% shift bonus XP |
| Power Order Efficiency Act | Experienced control room teams running steady shifts | Power orders award 2x XP, but require twice the power output to complete |
| Bloxy Cola Ban Act | Starving raiders of quick vending heals | Prevents taking Bloxy Cola from shelves, which often provokes an employee riot |
Enacted measures appear on display boards in the control room and outside the administrative complex.
How Do You Unlock the Plant Director Role?
Unlocking the Plant Director role requires completing the Department of Energy career path or purchasing the executive gamepass. Only one player can serve as the active Plant Director per server at any given time, meaning you must wait for the current leader to leave or get dismissed before claiming the slot.
Players choosing the progression route must earn experience across multiple operational departments:
- Begin on Plant Maintenance (free starter team).
- Earn 8,000 XP to access Logistics Operations.
- Earn 8,000 XP in logistics to reach Reactor Operations.
- Accumulate 30,000 XP running reactor panels to unlock shift manager.
- Acquire 30,000 XP as a shift manager to join Corporate.
- Accumulate 6,000 XP on the Corporate team to achieve the Executive Director title.
Reaching the role through progression awards the Top of the Chain badge. Alternatively, the Plant Director gamepass can be purchased for 2,200 Robux to bypass the Department of Energy grind. Gamepass buyers appear under the Director title rather than Executive Director.
How Do You Survive Riots, Raids, and Meltdowns?
Protection protocols are operational measures designed to keep the Plant Director alive against enemy infiltrators and mutinous staff. Staying alive is mandatory because assassination immediately removes you from the post and locks you out of the department for 5 minutes.
The tactical response team serves as your primary security detail. Agents receive continuous bonus XP simply by remaining within a close radius of the director. When high-tier Personal Security Detachment agents are active, travel inside their Armoured Limo or retreat to the upper floors of the Administrative Complex, which remain locked to raiders.
Directors must watch for two major hazards:
- Staff Riots: If between 10 and 18 facility workers gather with protest signs outside the administrative complex, a 5-minute riot triggers. A skull marker reveals the director's coordinates, and participating workers receive sidearms to eliminate management. Surviving the 5-minute timer resets the peace, whereas dying awards rioters 5,000 XP and opens the director slot.
- Core Meltdown: If reactor core heat exceeds 3,120 Kelvin and operators fail to drop temperatures below 900 Kelvin during a meltdown, the reactor explodes. Directors who survive outside the blast bunkers are dismissed automatically once the facility detonates.
